Staged Norfolk holiday home tour

Nesh was approached by a property developer to stage three flats situated in one property in the heart of Cromer, Norfolk.

With a beautiful British seaside surrounding, these flats needed to feel like a ‘home away from home’ and Nesh insisted that each flat had a different scheme to distinguish one from the other.

Explore one of the holiday lets below, which boasts an aspirational coastal scheme.

Cosy living space

This compact living space had lots of natural light available due to a large sash window, therefore it already felt like a warm and welcoming room.

Nesh proposed a subtle coastal colour scheme that perfectly fit in with the surroundings but didn’t feel too forced. The addition of natural materials such as wood, rattan and hessian complements the coastal theme and leaves it feeling modern and contemporary.

To pay homage to the beautiful seaside town of Cromer, Nesh included real life photographs of the location and framed them to create an inspirational gallery wall behind the practical grey corner sofa.

A place to dine

Even though the living space is quite compact, there was enough room to fit in a small dining table. Due to this property being a holiday let, it was important for the space to be as accommodating as possible.

Nesh carried on the coastal theme by opting for a slimline wooden dining table with white painted chairs, which left the space feeling open and free of clutter.

Dressing the table with ceramics, cutlery and a vase of dried pampas grass brings the area to life and inspires potential guests.

Contemporary kitchen

Like the rest of the property, the kitchen had an entire refit. It now offers a clean and contemporary space that is ideal for holiday renters.

Nesh brought in subtle pops of colour with blue appliances and accessories to give the kitchen some personality and visual interest.

Bar stools and artwork were also added to create a sociable breakfast bar area.

Shower room

The bathroom has been redesigned into a stylish and functional space. Vertical blue metro tiles contrasted with a black shower screen and towel radiator creates a contemporary space that feels bang on trend.

Nesh has accessorised the bathroom with soft cotton towels, luxurious shower products and a basket for storage.

Coastal bedroom one

The bedrooms in this holiday let are blessed with large bay-style windows, which let in lots of natural light. Nesh wanted to enhance this by painting the walls blue, allowing the property to merge into the beautiful blue skies of its surrondings.

Nesh designed and executed a bedroom scheme that feels fresh and inviting. Modern furniture and lighting paired with blue and grey soft furnishings is a match made in heaven. The statement piece of artwork that is hung above the bed nods to the coastal theme of the entire property.

Coastal bedroom two

The second bedroom feels cohesive with the rest of the property and offers the same level of style and comfort. Nesh paired white detailed furniture with raw wooden elements to adhere to the nautical vibe of the property.

When staging a holiday let it’s important to not just think about the overall style of it but how practical it is to guests. A great example of this is the wooden peg rail, which is the perfect spot for hanging a coat or dressing gown.

A striped throw and coastal-themed artwork tie this bedroom scheme together.
